Carolyn Farhadian, RN, Director of Nursing Services
Born in Lawrence MA, Carolyn moved to Salem, NH at age six and was educated in the Salem School system. She now resides in Hampstead, NH with her husband Tom. They have two sons and four grandchildren. Carolyn started her career in business as an administrative assistant at Pinkerton Academy. Striving for a new career, she chose nursing and received her RN from Rivier College. Carolyn has been with Salemhaven for 9 years and has 13 years of experience in long-term care and hospice.
Juanita Dilendick, RN, Assistant Director of Nursing Services
William "Bill" Pitocchelli, Admissions Director
Bill has been in the nursing home industry since 1989. He has been the Director of Admissions in the Merrimack Valley for many years. He also worked as Corporate Regional Director for Census Development/Insurance Contracts locally. Bill has a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from St Anselm’s College and an Associate’s Degree in Accounting from Northern Essex Community College.
Allison Battis, MSW, Director of Social Services
Allison has been the Director of Social Services since February 2015. Allison’s role at Salemhaven is to address any emotional or social factors relating to the residents and their current situation. She is available to identify and handle any issues that may arise during the length of stay at Salemhaven for both the residents, as well as their family members. Allison’s focus is on the psychosocial well-being of the residents to ensure their time with us at Salemhaven is enjoyable. Allison graduated from Merrimack College in North Andover with her bachelor’s degree in health science/Sociology. Allison went on to obtain her LSW license in 2001 and has been working with the geriatric population since 1998 in both home care and long-term settings. Allison lives in Atkinson NH with her husband and has one daughter.
